Pre-talking for "Shelter", at Lincoln Park in East L.A. / by Bear Guerra

Ruxandra is honored to be able to speak about immigration and unaccompanied child migrants at a pre-show for "Shelter" --a bilingual play about the lives and trials of unaccompanied child migrants, in the tradition of El Teatro Campesino. It'll be held at Lincoln Park in East L.A. on Saturday, April 9, 6:30 pm and performances will go on in the L.A. area until April 17. Research about Central American migrants by our friend, Elizabeth Kennedy, informed and inspired the play.
